TONZU Tofu with Tacos

Ingredients

  • 275g TONZU Tofu
  • 2/3 cup brown rice or bulgur wheat, cooked
  • 1/4 cup peanuts
  • 1/2 green pepper, diced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, crushed
  • 1/4 tspn chilli powder
  • 1/4 cup tomato sauce
  • 1/2 tspn salt
  • 6 taco shells
  • -- GARNISHES --
  • Chopped tomato
  • Minced onion
  • Shredded lettuce
  • Grated cheese
  • Tobasco or taco sauce

Method

  • Combine tofu, rice, peanuts, green pepper, garlic, chilli powder, tomato sauce and salt in a bowl and mash thoroughly (remember to heat this mix if you want to have a nice warm meal).
  • Heat the taco shells.
  • Top each taco with your choice of garnishes, and spoon on the TONZU tofu mix.
  • Season with tobasco or taco sauce.

How to Serve

  • Serve warm
