TONZU Tofu Hearty Vegetable Soup

Enjoy a traditional touch - Easy, delicious, a real feel-good recipe – TONZU Tofu Hearty Vegetable Soup is an ideal lunch or light dinner meal. Serve piping hot with fresh focaccia or oven-baked bread.



  • 275g TONZU Tofu (cubed)
  • 4 cups water
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons parsley
  • 1 carrot, chopped
  • 1 potato, diced
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 cup cabbage, chopped
  • 1 cup corn
  • 1 cup peas or pea pods
  • 2 cups spinach or Swiss chard leaves
  • Salt to taste


  • Place all ingredients, except the spinach/ Swiss chard and salt, in a soup pot and stir well.
  • Bring the soup to a boil, then simmer for 30 minutes.
  • Add the spinach/ Swiss chard for the last 5 minutes of cooking.
  • Remember to add any of your other favourite vegetables.

How to Serve

  • This makes a good meal served with fresh sour dough or your favourite bread loaf.
