TONZU Sour Cream

TONZU Tofu can be used in place of sour cream, yogurt or mayonnaise in dips and salad dressings. This sour cream is a great compliment to serve with baked, boiled, mashed or ‘any-way- you-like-them’ potatoes.

Ingredients

  • 275g TONZU Tofu
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Juice 1 lemon
  • 1 1/2 tsp mustard stone-ground mustard
  • 1 tsp salt to taste
  • 3 x spring onion stalks, chopped (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons parsley (optional)

Method

  • Put the whole lot in a food processor and blend until nice and smooth.
  • Remove from food processor and fold in the spring onion and parsley if desired.

How to Serve

  • With rice and vegetables, tossed in your favourite salad, or just eat on its own. This is also quite nice in a burger with salad and sauce of your choice (peanut, mayo etc.)
